Over a few sessions I was able to get the Aileron brackets installed permanently. Read on for the roadbumps and gotchas learned along the way.
Priming days are my favorite (not!). With a 5:30am start and one epic marathon session, I was able to get through priming all the parts needed to build out the ailerons (and some other things). Check out the lengthy post for a recap of a long, but satisfying day.
With Priming day getting close (Saturday!), I wanted to wrap up any remaining items I needed to get done before prime. This include the aileron brackets and some annoying little aileron stops. Read on for more detail!
Got going on the trailing edge of the wing today, prepping the flap brace and aileron fairing for priming. Thanks Mom for bringing food!
In an epic Sunday session, Sam, Tod, and I powered through the remainder of the right top skin, repaired a bunch of outstanding rivets, and moved the wings to their new home, the wing cradle Paul and Kacy get me.
