Time to get the wings completed and out of the hangar! Last step before the go on the shelf for a while was the flaps, so it was time to get it done!

After finally getting back to RV-8 work, Sam and I got some good momentum back finishing closeout of the left wing. It’s nice to be back!

I need to finalize the left wing interior before I can close out the skin. This post walks through the steps completed to get there.

In an epic 24 hours, Sam and I successfully cranked through the right outboard bottom skin. Read on for the details!

November is gotten off to a better start with the some wiring activities and more bottom skin riveting. Lots of help from Sam, plus the experience from the right wing made the second time around a lot easier.
