It’s a goofy photo of Nico, but it really represents all the work we did prepping for the tailcone bulkheads. These bulkheads will maintain the shape of the tailcone structure and provide the strength to attach the horizontal and vertical stabilizers. See below if you’re still not sure what I’m talking about.
There was quite a bit of fabrication, drilling, deburring, and even some dimpling but nothing too complicated. Below is an album of photos over a couple sessions (with James and Nico helping!)
The bulkheads are all prepped and ready for priming. I should be able to tackle that in the next session. Until then… Happy Building!
